FASHION X SPACE: Cultivating Lunar Civilization Workshop
Imagine what fashion on the moon would be like 500 years from now. The visual is used as a guideline for the participants to jump-start their thoughts and creativity.
500 years from now, we no longer have just one but multiple cities thriving with culture and technology on the moon. Since there’s no place like home, Lunar citizens are still obligated to wear a special protective garment or suit. Clothing is often limited to being functional and practical.
Although it provides safety, being in uniform every day could be monotonous to the eyes and minds of many. However, spacesuits are no longer as bulky as they used to be, and it's now designed to be skintight easily to each body.
People can move and travel more freely with their “Space Armor”. Still, that’s not it. Many brilliant-minded people who live or have migrated to the moon often create exciting innovations, and all it needed was one. One person that would create a new way of clothing that’d help librate the wearer’s identity and individuality.
What could it be? Simple, it’s hologram technology. All you need are pieces of device and places for them to attach. This allows it to project any silhouette imaginable as a second layer on your base garment or protective suit. Essentially means that for the first time in history, fashion is truly the playground of the imagination, no longer constrained by physics or fabric It’s functional, practical and fashionable! The futuristic concept for Lunar culture.
